Looking after it
It arrives ready to display. Top the water up every day or two and replace it completely every few days — pour the old water out and refill rather than adding to it. Keep it off a sunny windowsill and out of the path of the air-conditioning. Gerbera stems are hollow and soft, so they prefer shallow water — a few centimetres is plenty, and it helps keep the necks from bending.
