Looking after it
It arrives ready to display. Top the water up every day or two and replace it completely every few days — pour the old water out and refill rather than adding to it. Keep it off a sunny windowsill and out of the path of the air-conditioning. Orchid sprays are the longest-lasting flowers here and often outlive everything around them — lift them out at the end and re-use them in a small vase.
